Media sources reveal meetings between US, French and British intelligence bodies and ISIS leaders on launching terror attacks in Syria
Media sources have revealed that the intelligence bodies of some western countries, which claim fighting ISIS terrorist organization in Syria, have held several meetings and reached agreements with leaders of this blacklisted terror group and other affiliated armed entities to carry out terrorist attacks in Syria.
The Syrian News Agency SANA yesterday reported citing the Russian Sputnik news Agency that according to available reliable sources, since the beginning of this year, representatives of the intelligence bodies of the United States, France, Britain and a number of countries in the region, have held several meetings with leaders of ISIS (also known as Daesh in Arabic) and other terrorist groups in the US-occupied Al-Tanf area, to the southeast of Syria as well as in neighboring countries. The aim is to intensify terrorist attacks on the Syrian army and backup forces and on the Russian military bases in Syria.
According to the agreements, holy places are also included in the list of targets, the source said, indicating that these western countries are to fund and provide modern technology and weapons to the terrorists for this purpose.
The source went on to say that ISIS terrorists, who were transferred to Iraq and who were released from prisons and detention centers in the areas held by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces militia, are receiving special training supervised by American experts with the aim of launching terrorist attacks.
The sleep cells of the terrorist organizations are scheduled to be used in the south and southwest of Syria and in major cities in the country, according to the source.
Earlier media reports and facts unveiled the close connection and coordination between the US-led Coalition and ISIS. The Coalition conducted several airdrop operations to evacuate ISIS terrorists from Deir Ezzor before the Syrian army liberated this area.
The US occupation forces also transferred a number of ISIS leaders and dozens of terrorists from the SDF-run prisons in Hasaka to Al-Tanf area with the aim of carrying out terror attacks on the Syrian army and on civilians in the Syrian Badia areas.
