Russian announces the arrest of a person in Norilsk for complicity with “ISIS”

The Russian Federal Security Service announced the arrest of a person accused of colluding with the “ISIS” organization in the city of Norilsk in the Krasnoyarsk region in the Siberian region.

The administration of the security authority in the region said today, Thursday, that this person was subject to the ideas of “radical Islam” and worked to recruit people to provide medical support and other assistance to the militants.

The commission confirmed that its members confiscated electronic communication devices, electronic media, extremist materials and the flag of “ISIS” at the residence of the detainee.

A criminal case was filed against the person for aiding in the conduct of terrorist activities.
