Palestinian presidency renews demand for the international community to stop the ongoing Israeli crimes

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian presidency renewed its demand for the international community to stop the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, stressing that the Palestinians will continue to defend their land regardless of the sacrifices.

The spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeinah, condemned the continuation of the occupation’s daily murders against the Palestinians, the latest of which was the murder of Khaled Nofal, 34, this morning, by a settler gunfire as Nofal was on his land that was seized by the occupation in the village of Ras Karkar in Ramallah.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtieyyeh called on the United Nations to implement international legitimacy resolutions, provide international protection for Palestinians, and stop the terrorist practices the occupation forces and settlers.

In the same context, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry  renewed its request to the International Criminal Court to accelerate the opening of an investigation into the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians and hold those responsible accountable.

In a statement, the Ministry denounced the heinous crime that killed the Palestinian youth Khaled Maher Nofal, 34.

The Ministry expressed its great astonishment at the silence of the international community on the occupation crimes against the Palestinians and dealing with them as daily events and issuing formal statements of condemnation, which encourages the occupation to persist in its crimes and violations.
