Measures for lifting the SDF militia’s siege on Hasakah and Qameshli cities have started

HASAKAH, (ST)_ The US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia has started to remove checkpoints it set up in Hasakah and Qameshli cities.

According to Hasakah Governor Ghassan Khalil, the measures of lifting the siege imposed by the SDF militia on the city for 20 days have started, hoping that the roads in the city of Hasakah and in other areas in Qameshli will not be closed again by the militiamen, who prevented the entry of medicine, fuel and flour to the residents of the two cities.

The residents in the cities expressed their pleasure that the SDF militia’ siege is being lifted, asserting that the Syrian state is the only guarantee for stability in the region.
