Damascus, (ST) – A slight earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale and 5 km deep on Tuesday hit the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The National Center for Earthquakes said in a statement, that the tremor occurred at 00.18 this morning, local time, on the Syrian-Iraqi border, 48 km southeast of Al-Hasakah.
An earthquake measuring 4.3 degrees on the Richter scale struck on December 22 last year, southwest of Idlib.
