Damascus University discusses ways to develop cooperation with Russian universities

On February 1st, the Rector of Damascus University Dr. Muhammad Yasar Abdin discussed with the Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus Nikolai Sukhov ways to develop scientific and cultural cooperation relations with Russian universities and scientific and academic institutions.

The two sides discussed mechanisms to activate the agreements signed between Damascus University and a number of Russian universities and the possibility of signing new agreements according to priorities set by the two sides.

The two sides discussed the possibility of joint cooperation in the field of scientific research and the organization of lectures, seminars and scientific conferences. 

 

The meeting was attended by Dr. Firas Hennawi, Vice -Rector of Damascus University for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and Ali Al-Ahmad, Counselor at the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus.
