Ten protesters at least were injured on Sunday evening as a result of renewed confrontations with the Lebanese security forces in the city of Tripoli, northern Lebanon.
The operations room of the Emergency and Relief Service in Tripoli stated that nine people received field medical aids while one injury was transferred to one of the city’s hospitals, noting that eight ambulance teams are working to help and transport the wounded in the confrontations between the protesters and the security forces in Abdul Hamid Karami Square and its surroundings.
The protests were renewed in Tripoli earlier today, calling for an improvement of the living situation.
