Syria stands by China against attempts of intervention in its internal affairs

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Syria stands by China against the attempts of intervention in its internal affairs and rejects Washington’s policy and its stances towards Beijing, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates declared on Thursday.

The source made it clear that after the previous US administration intensified its hostile measures against China even during the last hours before Trump’s departure of the White House and made remarks based on fabricated allegations on Xinjiang region, some remarks were made indicating the determination of the new US Administration to go ahead with its hostile policy through adopting the allegations of the previous US Secretray of State.

“Based on its deep-rooted and historic relations with China, Syria strongly condemns and rejects the US’s policy towards China and reiterates its adherence to One-China policy and its support for China to confront the attempts of intervention in its internal affairs,” the source added.
