Several US-backed SDF militants killed in attacks on their axis of movement in Raqqa and Hasakah countryside

A number of militants affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia were killed and wounded in attacks on their vehicles and axis of movement in the countryside of Hasakah and Raqqa.

Local sources in Hasakah southern countryside told SANA that an explosive device went off in an SDF’s military car in the vicinity of Al-Shaddadi city, causing injuries to several militants.  

In Raqqa, two SDF gunmen were killed in an explosive device attack in Hamret Balasem town in Raqqa eastern countryside. Several other SDF militants were injured when unidentified persons opened their machine gun fire at their military car near Al-Safsafeh junction in Raqqa western countryside.

Over the past days, attacks on the SDF militia’s positions and axis of movement have been escalated.

 SDF militia kidnaps more civilians in Hasaka and Raqqa

In another development, the SDF militia kidnapped a number of young men in the countryside of Raqqa and Hasakah, as part of the militia’s crimes against civilians in the areas it controls.

According to local sources, SDF militants stormed Al-Karama area east of Raqqa, terrorized the locals and kidnapped a number of young men to forcibly recruit them within the ranks of the militia.

Meanwhile in Hasakah eastern countryside, local sources said that the SDF militia stormed the third section of Al-Hawl Camp, kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to an unknown destination.
