An Iraqi child killed and two women and a child injured when an explosive device exploded in Najaf

Baghdad,(ST)-A child was killed and two women and a girl were injured today, as a result of the detonation of an explosive device left over from terrorists in Najaf Governorate, southern Iraq.

Najaf Health Department stated in report carried by Alsumaria News that an explosive device left over from terrorists exploded in Al-Hawali area, killing a girl and wounding two women and another girl.

Earlier in the day, Iraqi forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by remnants of ISIS terrorists in Diyala province, east of the country.
