Unprecidented humanitarian crisis in Syria ‘s Hasaka

HASAKA, (ST)_On foot, elderly and sick people and children of Hasaka city cross the checkpoint that has been set up by the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia which prevents the movement of vehicles in and out the city since 13 days ago.

The residents of Hasaka, who are living under a siege imposed by the SDF militia [ Its zarabic acronym is QASAD), suffer from an unprecedented humanitarian crisis because of the lack of food and fuel and the closure of main and sub roads in  the city.
At the checkpoint that separates Al-Nashweh district from the heart of Hasaka city, scores of people gather to cross the checkpoint on foot in order to go to the headquarters of their work.

A sick old woman said that the SDF militiamen forced her to enter the city on her foot.

” They have no sense of humanity.. They are following the US occupation forces’  orders, ” she added.

Another woman bought 4 bottled water packages from a shop, but the  militiamen forced her to return them to the shop and told the owner of the shop to not sell bottled drinking water to the residents of the city.

The residents are astonished at the silence of the international organizations on the SDF militia’s crimes against them.

They called for a rally to demand an immediate intervention to end the siege being imposed on their city.
