The Palestinian Foreign Ministry demands implementation of international legitimacy decisions

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its request to the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards the crimes of the Israeli occupation and to take measures to oblige the occupation authorities to implement the relevant UN resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlements and demands a stop to it.

In a statement by Wafa Agency, the ministry condemned yesterday’s seizure of more than 650 dunums of Palestinian land in Salfit and Qalqilya in the West Bank to expand settlement operations, expressing its deep astonishment at the international silence towards the escalating occupation plans that threaten to eliminate any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state and its capital, Jerusalem.
