Operating water tanks in neighborhoods of Hasakah until completing pumping process from Alouk station

The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate continued to operate the water tank to fill the containers in the city of Hasakah in order  to secure water for the citizens – which will need an additional four days.

The Director General of the Corporation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ikla, stated in a statement to SANA correspondent that the operations for securing water for citizens through tanks in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross will continue after the reoperation of the Alouk water station. 

The Director General pointed out that the reality of pumping water from Alouk station is currently stable. On Sunday, the western neighborhoods of Al-Nashwa, Al-Sharia, and youth housing were supplied with water, and today water will be pumped to  the eastern and western neighborhoods of Ghuwairan and southern residential complexes.

It is noteworthy that the Corporation on Sunday operated all the working wells in the Alouk project, which numbered 21 in addition to 4 horizontal pumps, after shutting down the station for a week by the Turkish occupation forces.
