Al-Miqdad expresses to the Indian ambassador the appreciation of Syria for the stance of the Indian government

On January 24th, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad received India’s ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic Hafiz Al-Rahman.

The two sides discussed the friendly and solid relations between the two countries and India’s willingness to provide a batch of doses of the anti-corona virus vaccine.

Minister Al-Miqdad expressed Syria’s appreciation for the Indian government’s supportive stance in its war against terrorism through political support in international arenas.

 

For his part, Ambassador Hafez Al-Rahman referred to the deep friendship relations between India and Syria, stressing the Indian government’s keenness to continue joint work in order to  strengthen the Syrian-Indian relations.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Radwan Lotfi, Director of the Department of Asia Dr. Abdullah Hallaq, Director of the Minister’s Office, and Ruaa Sharbaji from the Minister’s Office.
