The Al-Ummal Neighborhood Health Center in Deir Ezzor has been put into service after being rehabilitated, according to the Health Directorate in the city.
The center was exposed to massive damage because of terrorist attacks.
Director of Health in Deir Ezzor Bashar Al-Shou’ibi told SANA that the center was reopened within a plan to expand and maintain the health services rendered to locals in the liberated neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor, particularly the neighborhoods of al-Ummal, al-Hamidiya, Al-Matar Al-Qadeem and Al-Sina’a.
The center was supplied with necessary medical equipment, medicines and medical staff, Al-Shou’ibi said.
On his part, Director of the Center, Dr. Ali Dalloul, said the center includes several clinics covering different specializations, in addition to a laboratory and a vaccination section. It renders first aid and reproductive health services and provide treatment for malnutrition.
A number of citizens in the area hailed the efforts being exerted by the government to improve the situation in the liberated neighborhoods and ensure descent life to citizens.
