President Al-Assad congratulates Armenian Orthodox denominations in Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_President Bashar Al-Assad on Wednesday congratulated the Armenian Orthodox denominations in Syria on the occasion of Christmas, the birth of Christ, the Messenger of love and peace.

Delegated by President Al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam offered congratulations, on behalf of President Al-Assad, to Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Church of Damascus, and through him to all members of the Armenian community.

For his part, Bishop Nalbandian thanked President Al-Assad for his wishes, praying for God to save the Syrian people and army, have mercy on all the Syrian martyrs and keep the Syrian territories safe and stable.

He wished that the New Year will carry charity for all the Syrian people.
