Tehran says it has hard evidence of Israel’s involvement in Fakhrizadeh’s assassination

TEHRAN, (ST)- Iranian Minister of Defense Amir Hatami has stressed that there is hard evidence about the Zionist entity’s implication in the assassination of senior Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.   

In letters addressing the defense ministers of more than 60 countries, Hatami referred to the direct involvement of Israel’s spy services in the targeted killings of Iranian scientists.

Hatami highlighted the major scientific achievements of and research projects conducted by Fakhrizadeh, especially the production of tools and equipment that combat the Coronavirus.

He also affirmed the need to abandon the double standards approach in combating the state terrorism practiced by the Zionist entity.

 Fakhrizadeh was the only Iranian scientist whose name was mentioned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a 2018 televised presentation.

Hatami called on the international community to condemn the crime of assassinating Fakhrizadeh, which is considered as a criminal and inhuman act.

On his part, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, Major General Ismail Qaani, said that the hegemony, the United States wants to impose on the world, has been broken.

In a statement on Wednesday, Qaani pointed out that Iran’s electronic software development will overcome the American arrogance.
