Syrian UN Association condemns Israeli aggression against Syria

Damascus (ST): The Syrian UN Association has denounced the Israeli aggression against Syria, stressing that the recurrent Israeli attacks represent an attack on the international law and the United Nations.

In a statement, the Association said that the Israeli aggression is the last episode in a series of attacks perpetrated by the occupation authorities, noting that the frequent Israeli attacks are also attacks on the international law, the United Nations and  particularly on the UN Security Council.

The Association  called on the UN, represented by its Secretary General, to denounce the Israeli aggression, demanding Security Council to assume its responsibilities, halt those attacks and take punitive measures against the occupation entity according to the UN Charter.

The Israeli enemy launched an air aggression  on Wednesday dawn  targeting a unit of the Syrian army air defenses in Damascus countryside that led to the martyrdom of three soldiers, the wounding of three others and huge material damage.
