Russian scientist: There is no need to fear the new strain of Corona and the current vaccines are effective against it

 Virologist at the Russian Gamali Chemistry Research Center, Victor Zuef, has said that there is no need to fear the new strain of Corona.

Zuef added that the properties and antagonists of this strain have not changed and the available vaccines are effective against it.

 “The virus of the new strain has become more infectious and more common, and its pathogenic and antagonistic properties have not changed, and therefore the available vaccines are effective against it,” Zuef said in an interview with (RIN) TV channel.

On December 14, the British Health Minister Matt Hancock announced that his country’s scientists had discovered a new strain of Coronavirus.
