Cuba renews support for Syria’s battle against terrorism

Havana (ST):  Cuba has renewed its stand by Syria in its war against terrorism and its support  for  the efforts being exerted to find a political solution to resolve the crisis in the country in a way that preserves  the respect of Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

 During the meeting held between  Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anayansi Rodriguez  with Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Dr. Idris Mayya at the  Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides hailed the  high level of relations between the two countries, affirming the necessity to continue strengthening them in various domains.

Ambassador Mayya gave a presentation on the situation in Syria, stressing Syria’s determination to eliminate terrorism and  restore security and stability to all its territories.
