Minister Al-Miqdad to Borujerdi: Countries targeting stability in the region use economic terrorism and assassinations

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad received Dr. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Assistant Rector for International Affairs at the Islamic Azad University in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his accompanying delegation.

Minister Al-Miqdad affirmed that the countries targeting stability in the countries of the region have moved today to the policies of economic terrorism and assassination of scientists such as the martyr Mohsen Fakhri Zadeh was on top of those targeted.

 

Minister Al-Miqdad indicated the need to develop joint work and strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria.

For his part, Dr. Boroujerdi said that the fraternal relationship that brings together the peoples and leaders of the two countries is too strong to be influenced by any party.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Radwan Lotfi, Director of Asia Department, Dr. Abdullah Hallaq, Director of the Minister’s Office, and Ruaa Sharbaji from the Deputy Minister’s Office.

On the Iranian side, the meeting was also attended by Ambassador Jawad Turk Abadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, Dr. Salih Fikr, Director of Public Relations at Islamic Azad University, and Dr. Manzari Tawakli, President of the University Azad in Kerman, Ibrahim and Wali Pour from the Iranian embassy in Damascus.
