Civil initiatives to provide Hasaka city’s residents with water

Al-Hasaka, (ST) – A number of civil associations joined with a number of private initiatives to secure drinking water for the residents in Hasaka city as Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries continue to cut off the water supply to the city and stop pumping from the Alouk Station for the 26th day in a row.

The “Syria Al-Yamamah” and “Wad” associations provided a number of tanks in Al-Hasakah city to distribute drinking water in the sectors with the greatest need for water which were not included in the distribution during the past days, in order to fill a small part of the people’s need.

In a statement to SANA’s correspondent, the head of the board of directors of the Syria Al-Yamamah Association, Saeed Al-Khader said that, the association today transported 6 water tanks with a capacity of 150 cubic meters per tanker .This happened for a period of 10 consecutive days in order to alleviate the suffering of the people and stand by the people of Hasaka.

In a similar statement, the head of the Wad” AssociationRoma Bursan stated that the initiative comes within the framework of participation in alleviating the suffering of the residents and securing a small part of their daily needs for drinking water in light of the Turkish occupier cutting off drinking water.

The Civil activities have continued to provide Hasaka city’s residents with drinking water as Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries continue to stop pumping water for the 26th consecutive day.
