DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- The Syrian Clans Forum kicked off on Wednesday in the city of Al-Mayadeen in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside to express the Syrian clans’ rejection of the US and Turkish occupation and to stress their adherence to the territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and their support for the Syrian Arab Army in its battle to eliminate terrorism and expel the occupies.

In their final statement leaders and dignitaries of the Syrian tribes and clans reiterate their absolute rejection of the illegal presence of the US and Turkish occupation forces and their affiliated mercenaries on Syrian land. They condemned the occupiers’ aggressive practices including the systematic destruction of the Syrian people’s capabilities, the looting of Syria’s resources and antiquities and the attempt to make a demographic change in Syrian areas.

The tribes’ leaders and dignitaries called on all tribes members to support the Syrian Arab Army in its effort to liberate the entire Syrian territory from terrorism and from the US, Turkish and Israeli occupation. They also called for lifting the unfair economic sanctions imposed on Syria, urging all the Syrians to unite and join efforts to reconstruct the country.

In a statement during the Forum, Governor of Deir Ezzor Fadel Najjar stressed that the people of Deir Ezzor have backed the Syrian Arab Army in the confrontation of the schemes of the American occupation and its mercenaries and the Zionist entity which aim at undermining Syria, spreading chaos, divide the country and plunder its resources.
