Member of the European Parliament: The European Union is totally broke, politically and morally

Prague,(ST)- Czech Member of the European Parliament, Ivan David, confirmed that the European Union’s failure to deter the practices of the Turkish regime, that  violates international law and commits war crimes  and crimes against humanity.

David wrote on his Facebook page on Monday that “the formal sanctions that the recent European Union summit hinted at the Turkish regime represents a blow to the Greeks, Cypriots who are members of the Union.”

He considered that despite the demands of some EU countries to adopt strong sanctions against Turkish regime, this will not happen due to the opposition of Germany and other countries that have large investments in Turkey.

He stressed that the European values that are frequently talked about do not exist because the European Union “has no honest politics and moral”

The leaders and heads of government of the member states of the European Union decided during their meeting in Brussels on the 11th of this month to impose sanctions on the Turkish regime due to its “illegal and aggressive” violations in the eastern Mediterranean.

According to a diplomat, “the measures that have been approved will be individual sanctions and additional measures can be taken if Turkey continued its aggressive practices.
