European Parliament: European Parliament: EU has to deterred Erdogan in his occupation behavior

Prague,(ST)-Deputy in the European Parliament for the Czech Republic, Katrjina Konecna, confirmed that the failure  to deter the Turkish regime has pushed it to continue its expansionist occupation behavior.

In an article published by Parliamentary Papers website today, she said that Erdogan’s regime “has occupied the territories of Cyprus which is  a member state  in  European Union for many years without the union taking any effective steps to end this occupation and reunify Cyprus, therefore, Erdogan’s appetite for expansion has increased.”

She stressed that the Turkish regime continues its illegal practices and unilateral measures against two member states of the European Union, Cyprus and Greece, whose interests are considered among the interests of the Union. The UE must realized that this regime is not an ally.
