Iran: We stand with Syria in the fight against terrorism

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh has reiterated his country’s stand by Syria in fighting terrorism.

Khatibzadeh indicated in a tweet on December 7 that a political solution is the only possible option to end the current crisis in Syria.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that his country would continue to support the people and the legitimate government in Syria with full force.
