The United States caused devastation of prosperous countries like Syria, Iraq and Libya: Okamura

PRAGUE, (ST)- Deputy Speaker of the Czech Parliament, Head of the Freedom and Direct Democracy Party Tomio Okamura has stressed that the United States has devastated prosperous countries like Syria, Iraq and Libya.

In an article published by a Czech website on Monday, Okamura said that the United States has directly or indirectly helped in the creation of Daesh terrorist organization, in the killing of thousands of people and in the devastation of several countries.

He pointed out that the European Union has contributed to a huge disinformation campaign in the world and claimed that the United States is disseminating freedom and democracy, which is a lie.

Last month, Okamura stressed that the American and Turkish military presence on Syrian land is illegal, as it was done without any authorization from the United Nations or an invitation from the legitimate Syrian government, contrary to the Russian presence. He also affirmed that the United States negatively affects developments in the Middle East and North Africa.
