Al-Miqdad discuses with his Omani counterpart enhancing bilateral cooperation

Damascus, (ST) -The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, received a phone call from his counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, in which they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

During the call, Minister Al-Busaidi congratulated Dr. Al-Miqdad on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and wished him success in his new duties.

 

During the call, they discussed ways to enhance the existing cooperation between the two countries, a number of issues of common interest, and ways to improve the conditions that the Arab region is going through and address the difficult reality that the countries of the region are experiencing in general.

The two ministers agreed to continue communication to exert joint efforts in order to overcome these difficulties and solve the problems in the region for the benefit of the Arab countries and their progress in various fields.
