An American administration official reveals that Israel behind assassination of Fakhrizadeh

A US administration official revealed that the Israeli entity was behind the crime of assassinating the architect of Iranian nuclear weapons program Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

CNN quoted the unnamed source as saying that “Fakhrizadeh was one of the Israeli targets for a long time in the past,” noting that “(Israel) usually provides the American administration with information about its goals and the operations it intends to implement.” But he refused to confirm whether Israel had notified Donald Trump’s administration of the operation.

The source pointed out that additional sanctions will be imposed on Iran within the next week after Trump gave his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo the green light to continue imposing what the administration calls a policy of maximum pressure on Tehran over the next two months.
