A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hits northeast of Damascus

DAMASCUS, (ST)- A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit Damascus northeastern part Saturday afternoon.

The earthquake occurred in the northeast of Damascus at 1:54 p.m. local time at a depth of 7,9 km, according to the National Center for Seismic Monitoring.

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake also hit the northeast of Damascus on Friday at 12:08 a.m. local time.
