Tremor estimated at 4.3 degrees on the Richter Scale hits north east of Damascus

Damascus (ST): A tremor estimated at 4.3 degrees on the Richter Scale hit north east of Damascus last night.

The geo-physician Majed Hafez from the National Seismological Centre said that the tremor took place at 2:18 am local time and its epicenter was 50 kms north-east of Damascus.

He added that some of Damascus inhabitants felt the tremor.
