Sabbagh discusses with Oman’s ambassador in Damascus cooperation relations

The Speaker of People’s Assembly [Parliament] Hammouda Sabbagh has affirmed that the relations between Syria and Oman are deeply- rooted and based on  mutual respect.
 
Sabbagh’s remarks came during his meeting with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Oman in Damascus Turki bin Mahmoud Al-Busaidi, on Thursday. 
 
The Speaker underlined the need to continue work to develop the cooperation relations between the two brother countries, especially at parliamentary level.
 
He stressed the importance of exchanging visits and experiences in various domains.
 
On his part, Ambassador Al-Busaidi stressed the need to strengthen these relations and to intensify mutual visits with the aim of benefiting from Syrian experiences.
 
The Omani ambassador asserted his country’s standing by Syria, indicating that the plot targeting Syria has become clear to the whole world.
 
He voiced the solidarity of the Omani people with the brotherly Syrian people in facing the blockade and the unjust war that are imposed on them.
