Czechs Parliamentarians: the policies of the Turkish regime are a threat to the security of the region
The Czech MP in the European Parliament, Dr. Ivan David, confirmed that the Turkish regime continues to support ISIS and other terrorist organizations, not only in Syria, but also in Iraq, noting that these policies represent a threat to the security and stability of the region.
In a comment published on his Facebook page, David stated that the continuation of this regime, along with its mercenaries and terrorists, in its occupation and attacks on areas in north and northeast Syria, violates international legitimacy.
For his part, Deputy Speaker of the Czech House of Representatives Tomio Okamura called on European countries, including Czechs, to impose a ban on arms exports to the Turkish regime and to stop military cooperation with it, stressing that the Turkish regime is practicing an aggressive policy aimed at reviving the defunct Ottoman Empire.
In a comment posted on his Facebook page, Okamura called on the Czech government to take a supportive stance towards Syria, Cyprus and Greece in the face of the Turkish regime’s policies, which represent an actual threat to the eastern Mediterranean region.
