Aleppo, (ST) – The City Council of Aleppo continues to implement projects to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the main and secondary streets in the neighborhoods of the city and areas liberated from terrorism, specifically the streets in the districts of Bustan al-Qasr and al-Aziziyah, at a value of 50 million Syrian pounds.
Eng. Imad Al-Wasi, the Director of the City Center Services affiliated to Aleppo City Council, explained to SANA’s correspondent that the project of asphalting a number of streets in the Bustan al-Qasr neighborhood liberated from terrorism is part of the Council’s plans to rehabilitate these roads.
SANA’s camera monitored the views of a number of residents of the Bustan al-Qasr neighborhood, who expressed their happiness by re-asphalting the streets within a short period of time, noting the efforts of the City Council in terms of interest in the service reality of the neighborhood.
In the Al-Aziziyah neighborhood, the Military Construction Corporation’s workshops are working on scraping a number of streets in preparation for re-asphalting them. The works also included the Bab Al-Faraj and Al-Tal streets and rehabilitating these streets within a maximum period of 55 days, at an estimated cost of 25 million Syrian pounds.
The City Council of Aleppo recently completed the rehabilitation work on Omar bin Abdul Aziz Street in front of the old Al-Hal Market in the city center.
