Syrian Artist Abeer Al-Assad: online exhibitions strengthen Syrian expatriates’ connection with art of the motherland

Plastic artist Abeer Al-Assad has chosen  to participate in the first Syrian electronic exhibition in Ukraine through a painting entitled “Nature and Fate” with water technology on a large size canvas in an expressive style which  mixes nature with an imagined world that expresses  the artist’s  special vision .

Regarding the exhibition, which is  organized by the Syrian community in Ukraine, the artist  Al-Assad  said in a statement to SANA, “My participation in this exhibition is a great opportunity for me to present my work to the Syrian and Ukrainian people  in a European country that is interested in art and culture and has several important museums.”

Abeer Al-Assad , who works in the Syrian embassy in Warsaw, considered that cultural exchange between Syria and Ukraine through such online  exhibitions is a good opportunity to introduce art and artists in Syria, indicating that exhibiting  her painting in a group of works by  important Syrian plastic artists  is an addition to her artistic career and gives her greater impetus to move forward with new participation in virtual art  exhibitions.

Abeer, who is a lover of nature painting,  pointed out that the exhibition contributes to strengthening the relationship between the Syrian community members  in Ukraine with  art in their   mother country Syria.

She underlined that the exhibition  is a first step on the way to hold Syrian art exhibitions  in the most important galleries and museums in Ukraine. .

It is noteworthy that the first Syrian online  exhibition in Ukraine is being held on the official website of the Syrian community there and on its social media pages during  the current month.
