Corona continues to claim lives around the world with more than 1.3 million deaths and about 56 million infections

The new Coronavirus continues to claim lives around the world, causing more deaths and infections while  efforts also continue in an attempt to reach an effective vaccine against it.

According to the American World Meters website, the virus has killed one million and 343709 people around the world since its appearance last December. The total number of infections increased to 55 million and 961152, while the total number of people who have recovered reached 38 million and 976149 people.
