The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its condolences at the death of Minister Al-Moallem

On November 16, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condolences at the death of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Walid Al-Moallem.

“We received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of the diplomat Walid al-Moallem, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic,” the Ministry said a statement published on the ministry’s website. 

The Ministry said that the late minister was one of the national figures who played a major role in the diplomatic work over the past decades.
