Severe damage caused by sea storm that struck Tartous

The sea storm that struck the coastal region in the countryside of Tartous led to significant damages in some greenhouses yesterday.

The number of damaged greenhouses reached 64, and the number of affected farmers reached eight, pointing out that the committees are still assessing the damage in order to evaluate losses by each farmer.

It is to be mentioned that the sea storm had previously struck Harisoun area in the city of Baniyas and caused damage to the protected crops as well.
