We reject the presence of occupation forces on our land, says the National Forum for the Arab Tayy Tribe in al-Qamishli
Al-Hasaka, (ST) – Participants in the national forum of the Arab Tayy tribe, which was held in the village of Gormuz in the countryside of al-Qamishli, with the participation of a number of elders of the tribes and clans of the Syrian Jazira, confirmed their rejection of the presence of American and Turkish occupation forces and their determination to expel them from Syrian lands.
The speakers asserted the tribes’ rejection of the presence of foreign forces that illegally entered Syria and have plundered the country’s wealth.
“The occupation forces’ acts worsen the conditions of the people of the country, especially in the light of the unjust economic blockade being imposed by the United States of America and Western countries with the aim of forcing the Syrians to abandon their stances,” the speakers said..
Sheikh Muhammad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Nayef, head of of the Tayy Arab tribe told the Syrian News Agency (SANA) that the forum aims atdelivering a message that “we will remain steadfast until the achievement of victory.” He indicated that the people of the Syrian Al-jazera were and will continue to stand by the homeland and the Syrian Arab Army.
Sheikh Saleh Al-Hamreen, head of the Al-Yasar Al-Ta’i clan, said that the Syrian people reject the presence of occupation forces which plunder their wealth, stressing their commitment to the territorial integrity of the Syrian land and the resistance to all forms of occupation until the liberation of all areas in the country.
Meanwhile, the residents of the village of Gormuz protested against the illegal presence of the American and Turkish occupation forces, which contradict international legislation and laws.
The protesters raised banners calling for the expulsion of the American and Turkish occupation forces, denouncing the unjust siege on the Syrian people, and calling on international organizations to take serious steps to lift the sanctions that have negative impacts on the Syrian people.
