The “Yolland Annual Concert” Highlights unique musical talents

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and in cooperation with the Lattakia Directorate of Culture, the Cultural Center hosted the second annual piano  concert for students of Maestro Mohamed Farhat  , “Yolland”

More than 30 musicians of different ages, in addition to the students of the ” Dance to Live” school under the supervision of Coach Sami Nsier, and the team Do RE MiFa Sol, who represented Syria in the international talent program in its Arabic version, “Arabs Got Talent” participated in this evening.

 

The concert included various artistic performances, singing, dancing and piano  playing. The participating students played classical and tango pieces of music, in addition to modern musical pieces.

Maestro Mohamed Farhat said in a statement to the Syria times e-newspaper, “The training and rehearsals for the ceremony lasted for more than 3 continuous months, so as to achieve the best results.

He referred to  the “National Piano Competition” that was recently launched in Syria under the patronage of Dr. Loubana Mouchaweh, Minister of Culture, in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture in Lattakia and the Al-Assad House for Culture in Damascus, with the presence of an international jury.

Mr. Majd Sarim, Director of the Lattakia Culture Directorate, confirmed, “The strategy and work plan of the Ministry of Culture emphasizes the need to provide all support and attention to children in general because they are the guarantee for the country and the builders of the future Syria. Therefore, the Ministry of Culture, under the directives of the Minister Dr. Loubana Mouchaweh is keen to offer complete support, attention and care to these creative children and adolescents , so that they may be distinguished and effective personalities in the future, contributing to rebuilding a better Syria.

Coach Sami Nsier said, “We participated in the “Yolland” celebration through 3 dances that represented a mixture of various artistic cultures.Our artistic dance shows, thank God, met with great public interaction and added a state of joy and pleasure, which provides a break from the  routine of playing the piano for a long time”.

The ceremony was concluded with a singing performance by the  Crescendo Choir and certificates were distributed to the participating students.
