The European Solidarity Front with Syria in Spain: The international conference on the return of Syrian refugees is a big step to encourage them to return to their homeland
On November 15th, the European Front for Solidarity with Syria in Spain said that the international conference on the return of Syrian refugees constitutes a major step in encouraging refugees to return to the homeland.
The Front expressed its complete support for this conference and for all efforts that are still being made by the Syrian government for the return of Syrian refugees to their areas, lands and homes.
The Front denounced the absence of Spain from among the European Union countries in attending this international conference, stressing that this represents inaction on the international arena.
The Front condemned the unilateral coercive economic measures and sanctions imposed on the Syrian people and their legitimate government by the European Union and the United States of America.
The Front said these sanctions increase and exacerbate the pain and suffering of the Syrian people, especially in terms of facing the Corona epidemic.
The Front called on the Spanish government to lift these illegal and immoral measures and to provide urgent assistance to the Syrian government.
The Syrian government will be able to secure health equipment, urgent medical devices and medicines to protect its people, especially children, in the face of this epidemic.
The Front indicated that the international community must understand that it is the Syrian people who determine the future of Syria alone and not through the imposition of foreign policies, coercive measures and the use of terrorists.
The Front stressed that the United States and its allies in the European Union must realize the importance of restoring relations with Syria.
The Front said that the enemy is not the Syrian state, but extremism and its sponsoring of countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and “Israel” and foreign interference, including the European in the internal affairs of Syria through sending and supporting terrorists.
