Damascus (ST): Russian President’s special envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, stressed that the participation of 27 countries and organizations in the International Conference on the Return of Refugees indicates its success, noting that resolving this humanitarian issue will lead to promoting stability in Syria.

He added that many Western states refused to participate in the conference calling on them to come to Syria and confirm for themselves the safe circumstances for the return of the Syrian refugees to their homeland.
