Speakers( in order) at the international conference on the return of Syrian refugees in at the Umayyad Conference Palace in Damascus

* The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ayman Sousan  confirmed that the Syrian state has exerted its utmost efforts to facilitate the return of the refugees and the displaced after creating the appropriate circumstances for their return.

* Sousan clarified that the Syrian government issued an invitation to all the displaced people  without exception to return to their homeland, renewing the call for all the refugees to return and contribute in reconstructing what was destroyed by terrorism, noting that nobody worries about  Syria more  than the Syrians themselves.

* Sousan added that the conference  directs a message to the international community demanding that it halt the impediment of the return of the displaced and politicizing their humanitarian situation, stressing that this issue  should  end, calling for lifting the unilateral coercive measures being imposed on Syrian people and stopping the economic terrorism practiced against Syria by the US and its allies.

 * Alexander Lavrentiev on behalf  of Sergey Lavrov ,Russian Foreign Minister  ,said that the solution of the crisis of Syrian refugees requires participation of international community

 * Senior assistant to Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Asghar Khaji said that the problem of the refugees is an outcome of a war imposed on the Syrian people that lasted for a decade.

 * He added that the flow of terrorists, supported by a number of countries, has led to bloodshed, sabotage, and the displacement of millions of Syrians to other countries who are living very difficult conditions.

 * Khaji went on saying that in light of the importance of reconstruction and its direct impact on the return of the displaced, the Islamic Republic of Iran proposes the establishment of an international fund box for the reconstruction of Syria.

 * Chinese Ambassador to Syria Feng Biao stressed that the issue of the return of refugees is important to Syria, adding that the international community has to help them return to contribute to the reconstruction of their homeland.

 * He added that continuation of economic sanctions imposed on Syria is illegal and impedes the return of Syrian refugees to their country.
