SCO affirms the need to preserve Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states underscored on Tuesday that dialogue which is based on preserving the unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability of Syria is the only way to resolve the crisis in it. 
Sputnik quoted the SCO as saying in a statement following a video conference held today that  the organization’s member states support reaching a comprehensive political solution under the leadership of Syrians themselves with the aim of meeting the Syrian people’s needs, mainly stopping terrorist acts in Syria.
