Israeli settlers forcibly seize Palestinian-owned agricultural lands
In the south of Nablus city, Israeli settlers stormed As-Sawiya village and forcibly seized the agricultural lands of the Palestinians there.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, confirmed that a group of extremist settlers stormed the village and seized the lands to expand a nearby settlement.
He added that the settlers had uprooted hundreds of trees from this land several years ago and have been attempting to create a fait accompli through setting up tents and fencing Palestinian-owned land close to the settlement, which further indicates their intention to expand the settlement.
In the meantime, the Israeli occupation forces carried out an incursion into the besieged Gaza strip and razed the Palestinians’ lands.
Several military vehicles affiliated to the Israeli occupation entered Palestinian agricultural lands, to the east of Al-Bureij camp in the south of Gaza Strip, and razed wide areas to deprive the Palestinians from planting their lands and benefiting from the crops in the light of the unjust siege which has been imposed on them for years, according to Maan News Agency.
