US, the West should stop protecting takfiri terrorism in the region

Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has stressed that the US administration and the West should stop supporting and protecting takfiri terrorism that commits crimes in the region.

In a statement on Friday marking Prophet Mohammad Day of Birth, Nasrallah said that the takfiri terrorism, which kills only because of a difference in thinking in the region, has been protected by western countries that have provided weapons and different forms of support for terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq.

He called for adopting an international law that criminalizes harming the nations’ sanctities and religions, pointing out that the Israeli occupation entity has committed horrible crimes against the Palestinians and the holy shrines in Palestine amid the world’s deadly silence.

In another context, Nasrallah hailed the steadfastness of the Yemeni people who, despite the critical circumstances in their country, have never stopped supporting the Palestinian cause.

He reiterated the need to practice pressure to end the unfair war on Yemen.

Concerning Lebanon, Nasrallah hoped that the newly designated Prime Minister, in cooperation with the Lebanese President, will be able to form a new government in Lebanon, affirming Hizbollah’s preparedness to facilitate this process.
