Using the facilities of the Syrian government … Humanitarian cooperation brings families back from Al-Hol camp to Albania

Damascus,(ST)-After providing all the necessary facilities from the Syrian government, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, in cooperation with the concerned parties, completed the task of returning families from Al-Hol camp in Hasaka to their country at the request of the Albanian government.

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today, that comprehensive medical examinations were conducted for the families before leaving the camp, as the Red Crescent accompanied the Albanian citizens on their way from the camp to Damascus under the supervision of the organization’s president, Eng.Khalid Habbati, and the Albanian Consul General in Lebanon Mark Gharib and his accompanying delegation on their trip from Damascus to Albania.

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization stressed that it seeks to alleviate the human suffering and protect the dignity of those affected, stressing the commitment to the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, noting cooperation with the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies and humanitarian partners.

The detainees in Al-Hol camp, in which (Qasad) militia is holding tens of thousands of civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, live in catastrophic conditions at all levels, as diseases and epidemics spread due to lack of health care, which has caused the death of dozens of children.

In addition security chaos and the spread crime inside the camp surrounded by armed men (Qasad) militia has multiplied.
