Baghdad, (ST) – Iraqi Defense Minister Jumah Inad discussed with the Syrian ambassador to Iraq Satam Jadaan al-Dandah today the bilateral relations between Syria and Iraq in various fields and means of developing and enhancing these relations, especially in the field of military cooperation.
The Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement that SANA correspondent in Baghdad received a copy of it that the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in the interest of the two brotherly countries.
In a statement to SANA’s correspondent in Baghdad after the meeting, Ambassador al-Dandah said that there is both Syrian and Iraqi keenness to develop relations and enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the areas of eliminating terrorism, protecting the Syrian-Iraqi borders and preventing terrorist infiltration through them to both sides and information cooperation through the Syrian, Iraqi, Russian and Iranian of Four-Way Coordination Center.
