The National Center of Visual Arts in Damascus, is currently hosting the exhibition of Lebanese artist Fatat Bahmad , who has chosen nature as the focus of her oil works.
The artist depicts natural landscapes using oil colors in her paintings, which are varied in sizes, reflecting her love of light and joy. Fatat loves drawing nature through bright colors and her paintings reflect impressionist and expressionist schools.
Balconies, flowers, warm houses furnished with joy, and spring are the main themes of her works.
The artist loves colors, her artistic experience focuses on color more than the subject. Actually, she does not bother thinking about the content of what she paints, and all she wants to say she says through color. Her paintings depict the nature of the specified place.
The artist, Bahmad has expressed her own feelings, she wants to reflect her sense of the beauty of nature, so she presents paintings rich with happiness and optimism.
The oil colors that the artist used in her works mirror her love of light and joy, so her paintings are a mix of colors and nature.
