Syria to switch to winter timing October 30

Winter timing will begin Friday, October 30 in Syria and the clock will be delayed by 60 minutes at 1 AM Friday morning, marking the end of daylight saving.

This was a decision implemented by the Council of Ministers in 2011, signifying the start of the winter time, which commences on the last Friday of October each year.
